The big lypoma measures 10.4cm x 6.5cm x 2.0cm |
I think it looks like a bunch of P.Hut boneless chicken-wings. A buddy of mine said they also look like McD's chicken nuggets. So there's that... The path report did not include the weight...gee, why would I want to know about that? So, I asked the doc what he would estimate the weight to be: about the same as a plum. My take away from that: it's negligible for my notes in regards to weight loss. ESPECIALLY with being sidelined from working out for a couple weeks... The nice thing, is that I haven't gained a lot of weight. I've certainly gained some, just not enough to cause me to be depressed or stress out in the slightest.
Okay, pictures of me from October 5th:

As you can see, I'm healing up nicely...save for that nasty bruise. My torso is super tender and sore still (10/9/2018). Matter of fact, my rib cage all the way up to my armpits is somewhat tender - most likely just muscle adjustments, etc... Too much torso movement, causes quite a bit of discomfort / pain. I am still taking pain meds. The doc stated that he basically had to tunnel around to get everything out - hence the bruising on my left side.
Last thing: Today, is going to be my first day back at work. Yay. Going to be interesting. I'm not a fan of being stuck at my desk and not running around to get things done, but that's what's going to happen: I'm going to be stuck to my desk - boss was very clear on that (truth be told: I expressed the same concern - that if I am able to do just desk duty, then there's no reason I can't come back today). .....oh, except I found one reason when I got home from going to the store after the doctor appointment.......stamina. I've been laid up so long (yes , for me it's long) that my stamina is shot. So, we'll see what happens - this should give me the ability to ween myself back into things though.
Nothing like starting over from a different starting point. I'm hoping in a week or so I will feel decent enough to start back into doing some form of exercise (outside of tiny walks).
Keep your head up, and keep on grindin'!
