Chiropractic Visit - Go figure...

As mentioned previously, I had a Chiropractor appointment on Tuesday morning.  Totally worth the trip!  He took a couple x-rays, did some evaluations/tests, listened to me ramble on about my roller-coaster of "health" , and then turned me into a pretzel.  Want to see the hips? .....

Left side is left hip, right side is right hip ....even my zipper is cockeyed

Tell me....does that look normal to you?  Per the doc, my hips are not aligned properly, to which the x-ray shows rather well.

What caused this?  Well, the brief discussion we had, he stated that the frequent roller coaster of weight loss / weight gain , weight loss / weight gain....  etc..  was a heavy (no pun intended) contributing factor to this.  ..and the fact that I had been sleeping A LOT on my right side was most likely just the final straw that caused my hip to decide to revolt.

Sooo....between lots of yoga stretching, ice pack laying, ibuprofen poppin', hip/back snappin'... I'm feeling almost good as new!

Oh yea, round 2 was today.  He pretzel'd me up for another go at my hip(s) and said it felt fluid and smoother than last time, and stated 2 more visits should be all done.  While he was checking out the rest of my back, just pressing / feeling for anything out, he was saying:  "I found a spot right around here that seems to be really tight, most likely from posture...it won't cost you anything extra so we might as well work out the rest" - next thing I know he pushes down super hard, the top half of me flails up....the bottom half of me flails up.... and my back went POP!!

O.O  ...soooo wasn't expecting that...in the slightest...  Anyway, after a bit, the shock value wore off....but not for a while.

I've been given the go ahead to try and get back to my normal activities, with the agreement that I listen to my body and don't go too crazy with things.

That essentially wraps up this post.   Moral of the story?  "A picture is worth a thousand words" - translation:  An x-ray pointed to something legit physically wrong, that I highly doubt that I could have fixed with simply stretching, icing and meds....Now, I'll see actual life improvement :)
